28th ASEAN Economic Ministers Retreat

Dear colleagues,

Today, Min(T&I) attended the 28th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Retreat. Of note, ASEAN Member States launched the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement (ATIGA) Upgrade Negotiations, which is a key Agreement for our businesses. The Meeting also emphasised the importance of rules-based integration, the need to maintain free and open trade with our dialogue partners, and agreed to deepen collaboration on new and emerging issues such as digital economy and sustainability.
