Permanent Representative Kok Li Peng co-chaired an informal meeting between the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) and Indian Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) Leader, Secretary (East) Saurabh Kumar on 13 April 2022. The Meeting welcomed India's interest in establishing a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with ASEAN, and discussed activities to commemorate the 30th anniversary of ASEAN-India relations in 2022, which has also been designated as the ASEAN-India Friendship Year. The meeting also discussed regional and international developments.
