CPR Interface with AIIB’s President

The Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN met the President and Chairman of Board of Directors of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB’s) Jin Liqun on Wednesday, 29 August 2018.  ASEAN briefed Jin on the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity (MPAC) 2025, in particular the Initiatives related to infrastructure , while Jin informed the meeting about AIIB’s operations and strategy in the region.  They also discussed possible avenues of cooperation on infrastructure-related initiatives, and agreed to enhance lines of communication between the AIIB and the ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee in order to effectively implement the MPAC 2025.
