Permanent Representative (PR) Kok Li Peng attended the Closing Ceremony of the In-Country Training (ICT) course on "Strategic Management Leadership and Foresight" from 17 to 21 February 2020 in Jakarta. Together with ASEAN Deputy Secretary-General for Community and Corporate Affairs Michael Tene, PR gave out certificates of participation to 27 officials from the ASEAN Secretariat, and spoke about the importance of continuous learning to be able to deal with increasingly complex and cross-sectoral regional challenges. The ICT course is one of the programmes provided under Singapore's Enhanced Technical Assistance Programme on the Strengthening of the ASEAN Secretariat (ETAP), launched under our ASEAN Chairmanship in 2018.
