ASEAN-IPR Youth Conference

Ambassador Tan Hung Seng attended the Opening Ceremony of the ASEAN-IPR ‘Regional Youth Conference on Peace and Tolerance: Building Unity and Common Understanding in Countering Intolerance and Violent Extremism' on 19 October 2018 at the Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City Hotel in Jakarta.  The Regional Youth Conference brought 33 young delegates from across ASEAN and the Republic of Korea to exchange views on countering intolerance and violent extremism in the region.  Amb Tan also met the Singaporean delegates at the side-lines of the event.  We are proud of the Singaporean team comprising of Jennifer, Yuling, Saiful and Kwang Tong for their project submission Commence Plastic Reduction (CPR).
