The 6th ASEAN-New Zealand Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) Meeting was held on Monday, 2 July 2018 at the ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC).  New Zealand became ASEAN’s Dialogue Partner in 1975, with the partnership being elevated to a strategic level during the Commemorative Summit to mark the 40th Anniversary of ASEAN-New Zealand Relations.  The Meeting took stock of current cooperation, including initiatives undertaken through New Zealand’s People and Prosperity Strategies, and discussed possible avenues for future cooperation.
