Permanent Representative Kok Li Peng attended the 49th ASEAN Foundation Board of Trustees Meeting on Friday, 18 November 2022 at the ASEAN Secretariat.  The ASEAN Foundation aims to promote greater awareness of ASEAN and interaction among the peoples of ASEAN as well as their wider participation in ASEAN’s activities.  The Board was updated on the ASEAN Foundation's programmes in 2022 and its plans for the year ahead. The Board also expressed appreciation for Executive Director Dr Yang Mee Eng’s contributions to the ASEAN Foundation over the past three years, including steering the Foundation through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic while establishing new partnerships with the public and private sector.
