Permanent Representative of Singapore to ASEAN Ambassador Kok Li Peng attended the 1st ASEAN-France Development Partnership Committee Meeting on Thursday, 4 March 2021 via videoconference. The meeting was the first formal ASEAN-France engagement since France's application to become a Development Partner of ASEAN was approved at the 53rd ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting on 9 September 2020.  The meeting discussed ways to deepen the ASEAN-France relationship and agreed to develop a set of Practical Cooperation Areas to guide their cooperation between 2022 to 2026.
