18th ASEAN-India JCC Meeting

PR Tan Hung Seng attended the 18th ASEAN-India Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting (AIJCC) at the ASEAN Secretariat on Friday, 22 June 2018.  The AIJCC was co-chaired by Ambassador Nguyen Hoanh Nam, Permanent Representative of Viet Nam to ASEAN and Ambassador Suresh Reddy, Ambassador of India to ASEAN.  At the AIJCC, both sides noted the good progress in the implementation of the ASEAN-India Plan of Action to Implement the ASEAN-India Partnership for Peace, Progress and Shared Prosperity (2016-2020) and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen cooperation.  India also expressed its continued support for ASEAN centrality.
