The 15th ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication was hosted in Singapore on 17 July 2018.  At the meeting, ASEAN senior officials in the rural development and poverty eradication sector reaffirmed the importance of their collaborative work with other sectors on critical issues such as climate change, social protection, gender mainstreaming, and food security. They also met with their counterparts from China, Korea and Japan and highlighted the partnership between ASEAN and these three dialogue partner countries on rural development and poverty eradication, particularly through the exchange of policies and good practices.  Read more about it here.
