Permanent Representative Kok Li Peng attended the 13th ASEAN-US Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting on 12 April 2022. The Meeting took stock of the good progress made in the implementation of the ASEAN-US Plan of Action (2021-2025). The Meeting welcomed the US' interest in establishing a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with ASEAN, and discussed activities to commemorate the 45th anniversary of ASEAN-US Dialogue Relations in 2022, including the proposed ASEAN-US Special Summit to be held in Washington DC.
