The virtual Interface between the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) and the United Nations (UN) Delegation on 1 September 2021 was co-chaired by the Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to ASEAN, H.E. Hairani Tajuddin, and the UN Assistant Secretary-General of Department for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs and Peace Operations (DPPA-DPO), H.E. Khaled Khiari. It was attended by all Permanent Representatives to ASEAN, several UN senior officials from various agencies, including the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Economic and Social Commission for Asia-Pacific (ESCAP), and the UN Development Programme (UNDP). The UN Resident Coordinator (UNRC) in Indonesia as well as the Deputy Secretary-General for ASEAN Political Security Community were also in attendance.
