The ASEAN Foreign Ministers welcomed the Inter-Korean Summit of 27 April 2018, as well as the announcement of plans for a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea leader Kim Jong Un in the near future. The Ministers welcomed the outcome of the Summit which could enhance inter-Korean relations for the betterment of the Korean peoples.
