MFA Press Statement: Special ASEAN-China Foreign Ministers' Meeting (28 to 30 August 2013)

            Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam will lead the Singapore delegation to the Special ASEAN-China Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (FMM) in Beijing, China from 28 to 30 August 2013.  The Special FMM is one of the activities to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Strategic Partnership this year. 

            At the Special FMM, the Foreign Ministers (FMs) of ASEAN and China will exchange views on the future direction of ASEAN-China relations, regional developments and preparations for the 16th ASEAN-China Summit in October 2013.  The ASEAN FMs will also make courtesy calls on senior Chinese political leaders and attend a reception to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Strategic Partnership.
