MFA Press Statement: 22nd ASEAN Summit, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam , 24 - 25 April 2013

        Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will attend the 22nd ASEAN Summit in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, from 24 to 25 April 2013.  He will be accompanied by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

        The ASEAN Leaders will discuss the progress in Community-building efforts towards the establishment of an ASEAN Community by 2015 and take stock of the implementation of the ASEAN Charter.  They will also exchange views on regional and international issues, and discuss ASEAN's role in the regional architecture.
