MFA Press Statement: ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Retreat, 10 to 11 January 2012

Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law K Shanmugam will attend the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Retreat in Siem Reap, Cambodia, from 10 to 11 January 2012.  At the Retreat, the Foreign Ministers will take stock of ASEAN's community-building and regional integration efforts, including the implementation of the Master Plan on ASEAN Connectivity and the Initiative for ASEAN Integration.  They will also discuss the follow up to the outcomes of the 19th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, which were held in Bali, Indonesia in November 2011.  The Foreign Ministers will also exchange views on regional and international issues.
