Joint Statement The Tenth ASEAN Plus Three Labour Ministers Meeting (ALMM+3)
1. The Tenth ASEAN Plus Three Ministers Meeting (10th ALMM+3) was attended by the Labour Ministers / Heads of Delegations from Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, People’s Republic of China, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam, and their respective delegations. The Secretary-General of ASEAN and staff representatives of the ASEAN Secretariat were also in attendance. The list of the ASEAN Plus Three Labour Ministers / Heads of Delegations is enclosed.
2. We reviewed the progress of cooperation on labour under the ASEAN Plus Three framework and reiterated our commitment to promote quality of life and competitiveness of our workforce who are engaged in safe and decent work and provided with adequate social security. We agreed to widen and deepen the ASEAN Plus Three cooperation on labour to support the attainment of the ASEAN Community Vision 2025.
