The 7th ASEAN Public-Private-People Partnership Forum on Rural Development and Poverty Eradication on 18 July 2018 in Singapore put forward recommendations which focus on investment in human capital, inclusive planning and implementation of development initiatives, increased accountability, transparency of the public sector and the alignment of goals and processes from all sectors. The recommendations also include the establishment of ASEAN-wide platform on ethical investing and best practices on innovation in rural development and poverty eradication initiatives.
