ASEAN-EU Statement on the Paris Agreement: Reaffirming Commitment to Cooperation to Address the Shared Challenge of Climate Change
ASEAN and the European Union,
Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of their partnership this year – a partnership that has contributed to helping address important global challenges;
Recognising that climate change poses a shared challenge to all nations and peoples;
Welcoming the work of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), and the entry into force of the Paris Agreement on 4 November 2016;
